Melinda Shull Sales Manager, Rand Alloys

Melinda has been with Rand for 15 years and, in her current role as leader of the Rand Alloys sales team, she wears many hats…and they all fit her quite nicely.

Melinda manages a substantial portfolio of accounts within Canada and the United States with a key focus on the profitable growth and development of company sales.

Over the course of her working life, she learned the importance of loyalty, honesty, teamwork, cooperation and creating a culture of positivity in the workplace. These values form the basis of her decisions, actions and interactions with customers, colleagues and the members of her sales team.

Outside of work, Melinda has a passion for health and fitness and raising a family of three active children plus one new family puppy. If she has any time left she enjoys reading and travel.

Nikki Laxmidhar Senior Account Manager, Rand Alloys

As Senior Account Manager for the company, Nikki takes responsibility for managing a substantial portfolio of accounts within Canada and ensuring that, as an organization, we not only meet their expectations, but that we exceed them.

In addition to managing her portfolio of existing clients, we also keep Nikki busy following up on leads, identifying new business opportunities, and generating profitable sales growth .

Both in her business and personal lives, Nikki values inclusiveness, efficiency, communication and honesty and believes strongly that these qualities are essential to building strong and lasting relationships.

Away from the office, Nikki’s personal interests include human psychology and listening to Malcolm Gladwell podcasts. To decompress, she also enjoys spending time in the kitchen cooking and baking for family and friends.

Catherine Pelletier Bilingual Account Manager, Rand Alloys

As Account Manager of our portfolio of clients in Quebec, Catherine’s responsibilities are twofold.

First, she provides prompt, professional account management support to our existing client base in Quebec and ensures they receive exceptional service from all of our internal departments. Second, she cultivates and maintains a robust new business development pipeline to ensure that our business continues to grow and prosper in la belle province.

Catherine has a passion for helping people solve problems by thinking outside the box, and in her work and interpersonal relationships, she values integrity, dependability, loyalty, adaptability and respect.

As an avid outdoors person, Catherine stays active playing ultimate frisbee, boating and traveling and she enjoys doing all this in the company of her family and close friends.

Laurie Noorden Administrator, Rand Alloys

As our Sales Administrator, Laurie is the lynchpin of our operations in many respects, and a key reason why things run as smoothly as they do.

She administers the back end of all Rand sales, handling the details of logistics, receiving, preparation of packing lists, customs documentation, warehouse co-ordination and inventory control. Plus she provides key administrative support for the Traders.

Laurie is passionate about helping people, creating efficiency and continuous learning. She is admired by her colleagues and our customers alike for her kindness, honest and open communication skills, her humility and her ability to think creatively to find solutions.

In her off hours, Laurie loves an active outdoor life hiking and golfing. She also enjoys a good movie, time with family and cooking and baking.
